Throughout the course, you will focus on a specific company and industry. If appropriate, it should be the company and industry in which you currently work. If this is not appropriate, you should choose a company/industry with which you are familiar or perhaps one in which you would like to work.

Reflect on the readings. Then, develop a PowerPoint presentation in which you explain what innovation is and why it is important.

The purpose of this presentation is to persuade and inform the senior management of your company about innovation. The presentation should includeMBA-5150 v3: Innovation and Marketing

  • What innovation is and what it is not.
  • The need for innovation and its impact.

Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as speaker notes for each slide.

The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists. Support your presentation with at least five scholarly/peer-reviewed resources published in the last 5 years. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included.

Length: 8-10 slides (not including the title and separate reference slide)

Speaker Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide

Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style.

Save the file as .ppt (or .pptx) with the correct course code information.

Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
