On a planet with different gravity, would the Molarity of water be different? Explain your reasoning.

Mass is defined as a measure of the amount of matter in an object. It’s a fundamental property of an object that is not defined by its position in the universe hence electron, proton and neutron have the same mass as any other electron, proton and neutron in the universe. And weight is the force exerted on an object due to the acceleration of gravity. The weight is equal to the mass times the acceleration due to gravity (9.8 m/sec^2 on Earth).

On the other hand, molarity is a unit of concentration defined as the number of moles of solute divided by the number of liters of solution expressed in units of moles per liter. The mass of any substance is independent of gravitational force. Weight changes with gravity. Molarity deals with mass not weight and volume is independent of any gravitational force and water to some extent compressible, a mole of it would occupy a smaller volume in a high gravity field. And if the volume occupied by a mole decreases, the molarity increases. However, the difference would be minute to the point of undetectability therefore, on planet with different gravity molarity of water would be the same.
