Prepare a Comprehensive Literature Review
Throughout this course, you have collected and categorized research articles relevant to qualitative research. The next step in this process is developing a literature review in which the articles you reviewed are placed in the context of a research problem of interest to you. A literature review will eventually be a main section in your dissertation, so this is an important skill to start preparing for at this time.
A literature review is organized into a set of themes (section headings) that provides the reader with information that is synthesized into a coherent whole. Each section of a literature review focuses on research articles that discuss the author’s main ideas and findings. In your literature review, you will stress findings and describe the findings in a summary, and in doing so your literature will flow from article to article as you summarize and synthesize articles.
Your literature review should contain a summary in which you describe the main findings of your research articles and provide suggestions for future research.

Prepare a Literature Review
Your Signature Assignment requires you to;
1. Introduce the topic you selected in Week 1 and provide a brief background to the reader.
2. Present a brief problem of interest.
3. Identify the qualitative research method you believe works well to investigate this research problem.
4. Present the review of the literature, using headings as appropriate to delineate key sections.
• Describe the literature on the limitations, benefits, and challenges of the specific qualitative research design that you propose using.
• Identify and evaluate the literature on the software program you will use to analyze your qualitative data.
• Discuss validity threats in your chosen qualitative design.
• Analyze the literature on ethics in the researcher-participant relationship in qualitative design.
Conclude your Signature Assignment with a summary that synthesizes the research and points to gaps in the literature and to directions that further research might take.
Support this assignment with at least 10 peer-reviewed references. Remember to incorporate your faculty feedback from your Week 10 draft into your final Signature Assignment.
