When I observed Mrs. Hinson Jan, I notice Mrs. Hinson Jan have a great influenced on her students’ life. Many scholars claim that most influential role models are teachers for advance learners and enlarge their understandings. Teachers are responsible for more than just academic development. If a teacher wants to have a great impact on his/her students, he/she must connect with his students and reach them on multiple levels, because students admire and appreciate the teacher who kind with them. The best teachers are committed to their students’ well-being both inside and outside the classroom. Mrs. Hinson Jan built strong relationships with her students. I felt that when I was a student at ELI and when I was observant as well. She usually makes learning fun, as stimulating, engaging lessons are important to a learner’s academic life. She did her best in making her lessons and classes an exciting environment for learning English. These techniques hold the students’ fascination, and students learn best when they are both challenged and interested. It’s part of motivating students, which may not be easy, but which will benefit students learning progress in the long run. Inspiring students is not easy task to do. What makes her lessons interesting are that integral the lessons with daily life to ensuring their success and encouraging them to fulfill their potential. Students who are motivated by their teachers can accomplish amazing things, and that motivation almost always stays with them. She is also lucky because of the subject that she is teaching which is listening and speaking is flexible and easy to deliver to students.
