In this paper, you are to select either a current area of interest in your school, or you may adopt one of the suggested topics listed in Module 7. Then you will explore how a global perspective on that issue will inform what and how you lead in terms of curriculum (development) and instruction in your educational context.
Directions you may take: Consider researching topics/issues that you are already involved in, but adding a global perspective (school discipline, teacher accountability, etc.) or consider developing something entirely new in areas such as:
Global interdependence
Conflict resolution
Identity & cultural diversity
Values & perception
Social justice & human rights
Global citizenship
Sustainable development & futures
This paper will have two parts:
1. The first part is a rationale for why the topic of interest is important and how it offers an opportunity to add a global/international/comparative dimension to curriculum and instruction. Furthermore, it must meditate on and define the key topic. For instance, if you decide to focus on social justice and human rights, provide a scholarly definition of what social justice and human rights are: What are competing definitions? Who are the players in defining the boundaries of each internationally? For instance, who has written and signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights or the Declaration of the Rights of the Child? What do these documents say? How does it inform your plan? (2-3 pages).
2. For the second part you will write out a plan (objectives, materials, instructional techniques, etc) for how you might bring this global/international/comparative perspective to your school’s faculty and students. What standards might be addressed in this work? What learning targets met? How might you assess the success of this plan? How will you define “success”? What will teachers and students need to know/know how to do to enact this plan? What benefits/risks might ensue from this plan? (5-7 pages).
Please use subheadings to discipline your writing and to telegraph to the reader what you aim to discuss at each point. Also, try to use direct quotes and block quotes sparingly. In many – if not most cases – it is better to provide a parenthetical citation and paraphrase or rework it in your own words. (See: https://writing.wisc.edu/Handbook/QPA_paraphrase.html). If you do decide to directly quote someone else’s writing, you always need to comment on it and analyze it. Do not leave the quoted text to speak for itself. Lastly, proofread carefully. Many find that the best way to do this is to read it aloud to someone else – or (at least to yourself). In all likelihood you’ll catch any writing mistakes as you do this.
Module 7 – Post a copy of the paper to the blog for feedback from your colleagues
Module 8 – After reviewing your colleague’s comments, make whatever changes are necessary and submit to the assignment link.

Paper Comments Part 2 of the Paper(need develop an action plan that mean you need to do table then write two objectives, time, resource, and who executing)

For the second part you will develop an action plan at the school, district or educational community level. Be sure to include the context you have selected (name of school/district, demographics, number of educators, etc.); a personal statement as to what you role will be; your action plan for implementation; a timeline for implementation; and a reflection that considers the challenges you may face, as well as the immediate and long-term benefits. (5-7 pages).
