Film : Andrey Zvyagintsev. ‘Leviathan’
Anton Dolin (47) suggests that in Leviathan, the newly built church is a symbolical opposite of the ruined church, where the youngsters are gathering to drink beer and watch bonfire sparks fly to the stars. What is the meaning of this contrast? Does the film grant us any glimpse of Godliness?
